Equip2Play DR provides baseball equipment of all kinds—new, used, and well-loved—to underprivileged youth in the Dominican Republic. With your support, we’re giving kids the tools they need to play, grow, and pursue their dreams.

Our Story
Equip2Play DR was born out of a deep love for baseball and a desire to make a difference. While serving a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Dominican Republic, I witnessed firsthand the incredible passion kids had for the game. But what stood out even more was their resourcefulness—socks wrapped tightly into makeshift balls, milk jugs and cardboard boxes transformed into gloves, and sticks used as bats. Many of these children played barefoot, their love for baseball shining through despite the lack of proper gear.
These moments left a lasting impression and planted the seeds for what would become Equip2Play DR. Our mission is simple: to ensure that every child in the Dominican Republic who dreams of playing baseball has the tools to do so. By providing new and used baseball gear, we aim to give these young athletes the opportunity to step onto the field with pride, chase their dreams, and develop the confidence that comes with being part of a team.
What started as a vision to share the love of baseball has grown into a commitment to empowering youth and fostering community. At Equip2Play DR, we believe every child deserves the chance to dream big and play hard. Will you join us in making that dream a reality?
